Jinhyung Park

Pianist Park Jin-Hyung gained international recognition when he became the first Korean to win the piano category at the prestigious and historically significant Prague Spring International Music Competition in 2016. At the time, world-renowned pianist and jury member Đặng Thái Sơn praised him as a "pianist with an exceptionally beautiful tone."
Following his victory, Park made his formal international debut in 2017 through a collaboration with the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra and achieved a successful solo debut at the 2017 Prague Spring International Music Festival, with all tickets sold out. He has since been actively performing on the global stage.
From an early age, Park demonstrated his prodigious talent, winning the Boy Korea Daily Competition, the Ewha & Kyunghyang Concours, and the CBS Youth Music Competition in Korea. He also claimed unanimous victories at the JoongAng Music Concours before expanding to international platforms.
His accolades include top prizes and honors at numerous prestigious competitions such as the Hilton Head International Piano Competition, Jaén International Piano Competition, Čiurlionis International Piano Competition, Santander International Piano Competition, Panama International Piano Competition, and the Montreal International Music Competition, firmly establishing his reputation as a pianist of extraordinary caliber.
Since his debut at the age of 13 through the Kumho Young Artist Concert series, Park has performed as a featured artist for prominent events such as the Kumho Young Artist Opening, Yamaha Rising Star Series, ArtM Rising Star Series, Prague Spring Music Festival, Slovak Music Festival, Paris Animato Foundation, and the 20th Anniversary Concert of DSA in the Czech Republic. He has also appeared in performances at venues including the Korean Cultural Center in Belgium, the Czech Embassy in Korea, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, and the Konzerthaus Berlin.
In addition, he has collaborated with esteemed orchestras such as the Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra, Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Symphony Orchestra, Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Spanish National Radio Orchestra, Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra, Lithuanian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Montreal Philharmonic Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, and the Konzerthausorchester Berlin. Park has also performed with celebrated artists and conductors such as Chung Chi-Yong, pianist Paik Kun-Woo, conductor Pablo González, and conductor Nicholas McGegan. His versatility as a musician extends to chamber music, where he has worked with various ensembles, showcasing his skills as a collaborative performer.

Park Jin-Hyung completed his studies at the Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and Yonsei University under the guidance of Professor Yoo Young-Wook. He is currently pursuing advanced studies at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media under the tutelage of Arie Vardi.
