She was also awarded the Austrian Government Scholarship for Science, Education, Culture, and Arts, as well as scholarships from the Menuhin Foundation and the Dean of Mozarteum University Salzburg. After returning to China, she received numerous institutional and national teaching awards due to her outstanding achievements in education and academia.
At the age of 12, she held a piano recital in Japan. Later, as a soloist, she performed in many concert halls across China, Europe, Japan, and USA. She became the first Chinese pianist invited to perform a solo recital titled "Bach Dialogues with Chinese Music" at the Leipzig Bach Festival. She was also invited to perform at major music events such as the St. Gallen Festival in Austria, the Salzburg Summer Festival, the Scriabin International Piano Festival in Italy, the Orpheo concert Series of Euriade Culture and Arts Festival in the Netherlands, the VCU Global Summer Piano Festival in the United States, the opening concert of the 3rd China International Import Expo, the Shanghai New Music Week, the Shenzhen Piano Music Festival, and the China- ASEAN Music Week etc.
As the winner of the concerto competition of Mozarteum University Salzburg, Tang Jin had cooperated with the Symphony Orchestra of Mozarteum University conducted by world- renowned conductor Dennis Russel Davis. Being the distinguished representative of Mozrteum, she played Mozart’s piano concertos with Salzburg-Munich Symphony Orchestra for the jointly held event by Austria and Germany celebrating the 250th Anniversary of Mozart’s Birth. Moreover, she has performed with the Wernigerode Chamber Orchestra in Germany, the Osaka Forte Symphony Orchestra in Japan, as well as the China National Symphony Orchestra, the Shanghai Opera House Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai City Symphony Orchestra, Ningbo Symphony Orchestra, among others.
Her performances have been acclaimed by European media as "imbued with a noble cultural charm" and have also garnered extensive coverage and high praise from various official media in China. The Classic FM94.7 channel of Shanghai Radio has conducted multiple interviews with her and has broadcast several of her concerts.
Her debut solo album, "Performance Album of Yang Liqing's Piano Works," was published by Shanghai Music Publishing House in 2019, followed by an online version in 2022. She edited music score collection "Yang Liqing's Piano Works" has also been published by the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Press.
As a visiting scholar, she has been invited to conduct academic exchange performances and master classes at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama in Germany, the Malmö Academy of Music at Lund University in Sweden, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Music in the United States. Additionally, she has published several music academic papers in national core journal magazines.
She is frequently invited to serve as a jury member for various piano competitions both domestically and internationally, such as the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in Russia, the Russian Music Piano Competition in Russia, the Scriabin International Piano Competition in Italy, the “Ettore Pozzoli” International Piano Competition in Italy, the Sanremo Russian Piano Music International Competition in Italy, the International Competition Hamburg Composers in Germany, the "New Stars" International Piano Competition in Germany, among others.
Tang Jin has currently guided over 30 students to win awards in various piano competitions both domestically and internationally. These include the Scriabin International Piano Competition in Italy, the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth in Szafarnia Poland, the "In Memory of Sergei Rachmaninoff" International Piano Competition at the Central Conservatory of Music in Russia, the ISANGYUN Competition (Piano) in South Korea, the International IAFM Cologne Piano Competition in Germany, and the Young Euregio Piano Award International Piano Competition in Germany, among others.
