Since making her orchestral debut at the age of seven, Yukine Kuroki has built an international career, performing extensively across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. She has appeared in major concert venues throughout Japan, Italy, Austria, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, the United States, Canada, Australia, South Korea, and many other countries.
Yukine Kuroki came to international prominence in 2022, becoming the first Japanese pianist to win the Dublin International Piano Competition before securing another first prize at the Liszt Utrecht International Piano Competition later that same year. In 2023, she was awarded Third Prize at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition. Her distinguished competition record further includes the Gold Medal in the Professional Division of the Asia Chopin International Piano Competition, top prizes at the PTNA Piano Competition National Finals, the Grand Prix and Overall First Prize at the Balys Dvarionas International Competition for Young Pianists, and First Prize at the Hanoi International Piano Competition.
Her orchestral engagements have included appearances with many of the world's leading ensembles, among them the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, and the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra.
A frequent guest at major international music festivals across Europe, Kuroki made her acclaimed recital debut at Amsterdam's Concertgebouw in January 2024, followed by her Carnegie Hall recital debut in October of the same year. She returned to Carnegie Hall for another recital invitation in October 2025, further establishing herself as one of the most compelling pianists of her generation.
A student of Fumiko Eguchi, Kuroki completed both her undergraduate and master's studies at Showa University of Music before graduating from its Piano Art Academy. She currently serves on the piano faculty of Showa University of Music, where she is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of musicians.
In January 2026, Kuroki became an artist of Japan Arts, one of Japan's foremost classical music management agencies, marking another significant step in her international career.
